docker command not found even though installed with apt-get

SET UP THE REPOSITORY

For Ubuntu 14.04/16.04/16.10/17.04:

sudo add-apt-repository "deb [arch=amd64] \
     https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu $(lsb_release -cs) stable"

For Ubuntu 17.10:

sudo add-apt-repository "deb [arch=amd64] https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu zesty stable"

Add Docker’s official GPG key:

$ curl -fsSL https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu/gpg | sudo apt-key add -

Then install

$ sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y install docker-ce
