How to insert a SVG file in a PDF document?

I\'m trying use embeddSVG.py to embed an SVG in a PDF, but Adobe Acrobat Reader doesn\'t show svg content in my pdf.

Old question for sure, but Figma is actually a lot better at converting SVGs into PDFs. The support for color gradients, shadows, transparency, etc... is much better than the older answers shown here.
