CSS Multiple Backgrounds not working on IE8

I have the following CSS class defined:

    border: 0;
    float: right;
    clear: both;
    height: 48px;
    background: url(../images/submi

Internet Explorer 8 doesn't support CSS 3 multiple backgrounds.
