Bootstrap 4 IE 11 does not work

so I have the problem, that my whole website does not work in IE 11. I don\'t get why because officially IE 11 should be supported by bootstrap 4... Website: www.ergotherapi

Posting just in case this could help someone else. I ran into the same issue where everything ran just fine in Chrome but in IE11 it acted like it could not see any CSS. I came across this post but it didn't help. After more searching I found a suggestion to add the following in the HEAD tag and it worked. Figured I would post here since this is one of the first threads that comes up in a Google search.
