Google Test Framework is an alternative.

Here is a simple example from the documentation:

}

TEST(FactorialTest, HandlesPositiveInput) {
  EXPECT_EQ(1, Factorial(1));

  EXPECT_EQ(40320, Factorial(8));
}

It also plays nicely with gmock, Google's mock framework for C++.
