Where is the plugin folder for Android Studio on MAC

Question

I have installed a plugin which now crashes my Android Studio on start. Does someone know where Android Studio stores its downloaded plugin files, so I can delete it manuall

For android studio 4.0 goto Application then right click and choose 'show package Contents'
