How to make Less indicate location in percentage

I now aim to show the percentage sign also when you run, for example, the command

man emacs

If you run it, you get \'byte 3300\' for instan

With a live less runtime I used -M.

That's "-MEnter" at the : prompt with less running.

With really large buffers I also had to go to the end to "discover" their size. End and back Home.
