Open text file and program shortcut in a Windows batch file

I have two files in the same folder that I\'d like to run. One is a .txt file, and the other is the program shortcut to an .exe. I\'d like to make

"location of notepad file" > notepad Filename

C:\Users\Desktop\Anaconda> notepad myfile

works for me! :)
