jQuery: wait for function to complete to continue processing?

Move the data processing into the callback:

$(function() {
    GetResults();
});

function GetResults() {
   $.getJSON("/controller/method/", null, function(data) {

       for(var i = 0; i < data.length; i++) {
           // Do stuff with data
       }
   });
}
