If you are using a RemoteWebDriver, you can cast WebElement into RemoteWebElement. You can then call getCoordinates() on that object to get the coordinates.

        WebElement el = driver.findElementById("elementId");
        Coordinates c = ((RemoteWebElement)el).getCoordinates();
        driver.getMouse().mouseMove(c);
