TFS 2012 Build “Access to Path Denied”

I’m using TFS 2012 Build and running into an error

Access to the path is denied

The solution being built contains about 15 proje

I resolved a very similar issue by closing all open instances of Visual Studio, re-opening the solution and building it again.
