How to fix Error: listen EADDRINUSE while using nodejs?

If I run a server with the port 80, and I try to use xmlHTTPrequest i get this error: Error: listen EADDRINUSE

sudo kill $(sudo lsof -t -i:80)

for force kill

sudo kill -9 $(sudo lsof -t -i:80)

use above cmd to kill particular port and then run your server
