I'd go with the following it's working for me:

let stringThatIsGoingToChange = 'findMe';
let flagsYouWant = 'gi' //simple string with flags
let dynamicRegExp = new RegExp(`${stringThatIsGoingToChange}`, flagsYouWant)

// that makes dynamicRegExp = /findMe/gi
