How to open Android Device Monitor in latest Android Studio 3.1

On Android Studio 3.1 and above, you can push photos to the emulator, by first starting the emulator. Then select “Device File Explorer” from the menu at the top of the screen: View/Tool Window/Device File Explorer Then look in the folder titled “sdcard” and you will see a folder titled “Pictures”, click on it. Then right click it and select “Upload” and navigate to the photo on your computer, to the photo you would like to push onto the emulator. The restart the emulator.
