Adding git branch on the Bash command prompt

Here is how I configured the prompt to display Git status:

Get git-prompt script:

curl -o ~/.git-prompt.sh https://raw.githubusercontent.com/git/git/master/contrib/completion/git-prompt.sh

And customize your prompt adding the following code in your .bashrc file:
