As an Eclipse-expert and AS3/Flex4-newbie, and after searching and finding this page under the top10 google hits, I have just installed the free Linux-compatible Axdt plugin(0.0.8) for Eclipse(3.6) - http://new.axdt.org/wiki/Installation
No idea if this is any good, but at least THERE IS another free alternative for Linux. ^^
