Typically it's doing something like that:

static void Main(string[] args)
{
    // Convert from a DataTable source to an IEnumerable.
    var usersSourceDataTable = CreateMockUserDataTable();
    var usersConvertedList = usersSourceDataTable.ToEnumerable();

    // Convert from an IEnumerable source to a DataTable.
    var usersSourceList = CreateMockUserList();
    var usersConvertedDataTable = usersSourceList.ToDataTable();
