How to repeat last command in python interpreter shell?

Question

How do I repeat the last command? The usual keys: Up, Ctrl+Up, Alt-p don\'t work. They produce nonsensical characters.

➜ ~ brew install rlwrap

Start with rlwrap

➜ ~ rlwrap python
