Change Media volume in Android?

Can I change the media volume? and how? I used this so far:

setVolumeControlStream(AudioManager.STREAM_MUSIC);

But have a seekbar and want

Use adjustStreamVolume(AudioManager.STREAM_MUSIC, AudioManager.ADJUST_RAISE, flags);
