Project has no default.properties file! Edit the project properties to set one

While configuring MJAndriod I have got an error as follows:

Project has no default.properties file! Edit the project properties to set one.

In my case I went to My Project then to > Properties > Android > and checked Google API box. Clicking 'Okay' caused it to then work for me.
