The following code expects Adobe Reader to be installed and the Pdf extension to be connected to this. It simply runs it:

String fileName = "FileName.pdf";
System.Diagnostics.Process process = new System.Diagnostics.Process(); 
process.StartInfo.FileName = fileName;
process.Start();
process.WaitForExit();
