C# DateTime to UTC Time without changing the time

How would I convert a preexisting datetime to UTC time without changing the actual time.

Example:

DateTime dateTime = GetSomeDateTime(); // dateTime here is 3pm
dateTime.ToUtcDateTime() // datetime should still be 3pm
