HTTPS:

Problem:

• Data in HTTP is sent as plain text.
• A MITM can read and edit requests and responses.

-> not secure

Solution:

• Use HTTPS.
• HTTPS is an adaptation of HTTP.
• Encrypt HTTP using TLS(Transport Layer Security) or SSL(Secure Sockets Layer).
