I am trying setup pentaho biserver and followed all of the steps necessary;however, this is the error I am getting when I try to connect to localhost8081 (I have changed the port to 8081 from 8080 because oracle is using 8080). I am doing this on ORACLE DB VM so it is a linux environment. This is the error from the website:

Can anybody help please? I have been working on this for last 4 days just to logon to the website.

What version of Pentaho are you trying to deploy? What version of Java are you running in conjunction with Pentaho? It is important information to include, as this can help those of us trying to answer your question rule out a few things before answering.
Pentaho and Java versions often clash - many people are running more recent Java versions than Pentaho supports - for instance, Pentaho 5.1 only supports the version 1.7 release of Java. https://help.pentaho.com/Documentation/5.1/0D0/160/000
