A BitmapImage inherits from BitmapSource so no conversion is needed
The BitmapImage inherits from BitmapSource as parapura said.
Example:
BitmapSource bitmapSource = new BitmapImage();
BitmapImage bitmapImage = bitmapSource as BitmapImage;
