Adding PostgreSQL installer to my own application installer

问题 I created a Visual Studio 2010 installer project and added the postgresql-9.2.401-windows.exe file to it. In the "Commit" custom action, I added that file, removed any arguments and set InstallerClass to False . Now, when I run my application's installer, the PostgreSQL setup starts up, shows its splash screen and then jumps to 100% CPU usage and starts leaking memory for a long time (certainly longer than a few minutes), after which it bails out. Running the .exe on that computer works just

Targetting x64 platform with entity framework 4.1 in Visual Studio 2010

问题 I have a database application that references Entity Framework 4.1. In the properties window of the project both the Configuration as well as Platform selection options are disabled. I wan't to target this application only for x64 systems. Also there are some other projects in the same Solution and they have only x86 option avaliable as platform. I don't get the idea why I couldn't target x64 systems specifically. I have windows 7 64 bit running on my pc. Any clues how to target specifically

问题 When I click on "My Solution" nothing comes up. I have to use Custom Component Set. When I try to add a project from the solution, it can't add it. "The following components could not be browsed." ...projectnamehere I have to browse for the .dll directly. Also, not all the /// comments are showing up. 回答1: This is a limitation of Visual Studio; some features were cut due to time constraints: http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/details/541514/object-browser-doesnt-open-an-f-dll

Any way to resolve C4772 errors without having to register DLLs?

问题 I am maintaining a VS2010 project which has a number of cross-referenced COM libraries. I am trying to configure the project in such a way that it is buildable from a random workstation which has VS2010 installed. The workstation could be both 32 and 64 bit, so if I configure project to "register output", the build will fail to build on 32-bit machine, since 64-bit DLL will not be possible to load to call DllRegisterServer. Here is an example: Typelib from project B references typelib from

Can I view .html files using Razor Intellisense as if they were .cshtml files in Visual Studio 2010?

问题 I've gotten .Net MVC3 to process .html (and other custom extension) just like a .cshtml file but VS2010 will not highlight the Razor syntax or show Intellisense for it. How do I get VS2010 to recognize .html file as .cshtml? 回答1: It's not so easy. If you see asp.net mvc 3 source, you can see in webpages folder next things: File: RazorDebugHelpers.cs // Trim the html part of cshtml or vbhtml string outputExtension = extension.Substring(0, 3); File: RazorCodeLanguage.cs private static

问题 I'm trying to debug MVC source code in Visual Studio 2010 using the Microsoft Symbols Server. I've configured Debugging options as seen below: and my project is targeting .NET Framework 4.0. (as said in Debug .NET Framework's source code only shows disassembly in Visual Studio 2010) When I try to load the symbols of System.Web.MVC.dll, some window pops up saying that they're being loaded. But in the end, the Modules window says they couldn't be found, call stack lines are still grayed out and
