问题 I am running a gbm model using the caret package and trying to get it working using parallel processing with the doredis package. I can get the backend workers all up and running, but am having issues when they recombine into the final model. I am getting this error: Error in foreach(j = 1:12, .combine = sum, .multicombine = TRUE) %dopar% : target of assignment expands to non-language object This is my first time trying to run the foreach loop (let alone on a complex problem like gbm) and am

Laravel 7: MariaDB in combination with Redis but Redis behaves slower with large objects

问题 I have successfully implemented a combination of redis and mysql. At one section of my application I thought I would reduce load on mysql server and use redis until the data gets changed, however I observe that it's still faster when the same data is fetched from Mysql than redis. Here is scenario. User1: 10,000 records with seldom one off change in a day or so. What I do is whole object that fetches these 10K records, (serialized object of about 20mb in size) is saved to redis. The idea is

问题 I'm using a container of redis alpine and i get this error just in production - on my server. I've found MISCONF Redis is configured to save RDB snapshots and gone through it but none of the advice in there works. That's the error message: $ node dist/queue.js events.js:174 throw er; // Unhandled 'error' event ^ ReplyError: MISCONF Redis is configured to save RDB snapshots, but it is currently not able to persist on disk. Commands that may modify the data set are disabled, because this

Flask-Mail and Redis Queue library integration giving error

问题 I am using Flask-Mail extension to enable mail sending in the app. I was not able to get celery working with flask so I looked up some other library and found Redis Queue. Code: from flask.ext.mail import Mail,Message from rq import Queue mail = Mail() # mail.init_app(app) is done in top app.py q = Queue() @mod.route('/test') def m11(): msg = Message("Signup Successfull", recipients=['abc@gmail.com']) msg.body = "Hello there, Welcome!" q.enqueue(mail.send, msg) return 'done' When I run the

How to get all positions of the set bits in bitmaps of Redis?

问题 As I know we can get/set an individual bit and count it but there is not command to retrieve all positions of the set bits. My solution was iterate over all the possible index and ask if it is or not set. Disadvantage of this way is that it lead to a huge amount of getbits requests if the key contain large amount of bits, ex: 1,000,000 bits. And I need to know beforehand which indexes I have to get. Other solution is using 'get' command to get value of the key then scan it on client side. But

How to Xtrim (trim redis stream) in the safe way

问题 Redis Xtrim is to keep a number of records and remove the older ones. suppose I am having 100 records, I want to keep the newest 10 ones. (suppose java/scala API) redis = new Jedis(...) redis.xlen("mystream") // returns 100 // new records arrive stream at here redis.xtrim("mystream", 10) however, new records arrive between the execution of xlen and xtrim . So for example now there are 105 records, it will keep 95 - 105, however I want to keep start from 90. So it also trim 90 - 95, which is

Get Two Rails apps to share the same Redis data

问题 I have two rails apps. The first app constantly calculates some data and stores it in Redis (This app is running on JRuby 1.7.4 and Rails 4). The second app reads this data from the same Redis server (This app is running on Ruby 2.0.0 and Rails 4). After trying to achieve this configuration in my local development environment, it's apparent that my Redis data is not being shared between the two apps. In both apps, my config/initializers/redis.rb file looks like this: uri = URI.parse(ENV[
