Provide xcodebuild with .mobileprovision file

I am setting up Jenkins for automating iOS builds. Are there any possibility to provide a .mobileprovision file that is not added to the provisioning tool in Xcode to xcodebuild? I know that I can use PROVISIONING_PROFILE and PROVISIONING_PROFILE[sdk=iphoneos*] but they require the provisioning profile to be added to the Organizer. I know that I can do the operation with xcrun. But before running xcrun I must successfully sign the app with xcodebuild. Is there any way that I can just provide the provisioning profile file (.mobileprovision) to xcodebuild? Ben Clayton We have a solution for this

Development team not showing in Xcode

I am an self-employed iOS developer and so have my own iOS distribution membership. For a few days, I am working as a developer in a team. My apple account has been added in their iTunes Connect / Users and Roles. It works since I can access to the app details of the current app we develop. However, I can't get it right on Xcode. And so Xcode says the bundle ID is not right because I don't have the provisioning profiles. In 'Project>General>Identity>Team', I can only select my own account and I don't see the new team I am part of. I don't see it neither in the Accounts page of Xcode

When I upload to Application Loader I receive the following message: ERROR ITMS-90174: "Missing Provisioning Profile - iOS Apps must contain a provisioning profile in a file named embedded.mobileprovision." I have this contained in my app folder. When I compress no matter how obvious I make the provisioning profile, I receive this error trying to upload my app for Apple. If you are using Ionic / Cordova like I am see this announcement... https://github.com/apache/cordova-ios/issues/407 It's just one setting, then re-run your Archive to Submit to the Apple Store like normal. Why not use development provisioning instead of ad hoc?

I was under the impression that when you use a development provisioning profile for a build of an app, only the specified developers can deploy that build to a phone. But I just deployed a build that uses a development profile to a phone using Xcode Organizer, even though I'm not one of the valid developers for that profile. One of my colleagues, who doesn't even have Xcode installed, did the same with his phone using iTunes. In that case, why not use a development provisioning profile for distributing your app to e.g. your QA team, instead of ad hoc distribution? EDIT: Please read the part in

Provisioning profile for Today Widget extension

I am trying to archieve my app for submission however I am running into issues with code signing. Basically I have a Today Widget extension for my app. I am unsure about what I should be setting the provisioning profile as. I assumed that I would just use the same profile that I have used for my app, however I get this error: The provisioning profile specified in your build settings (“AppName”) has an AppID of “BundleID” which does not match your bundle identifier “BundleID2”. Xcode can resolve this issue by downloading a new provisioning profile from the Member Center. I can of course click

So I'm trying to create an ad-hoc build using existing provisioning profile (that worked before) with Xcode 6.0.1 on Mavericks, but after trying to export this archive, I keep getting the following error: Do I need to re-create my certificates and provisioning profiles, or is there a better solution? Thanks! Tico Ballagas I'm also facing this issue as a 'Team Member' role. The 'You are not allowed to perform this operation' warning leads me to believe that XCode is more strictly enforcing the roles defined here: https://developer.apple.com/programs/roles/ Even though I have access to the

Can't build an app for distribution after joining existing enterprise developer program

I joined an existing enterprise developer program . I was able to run the app in developer mode, but had issues with building and archiving. The certificate for creating a universal distribution app is already present, but I am not able to build with it. How can I do it in steps?? The certificate is only half the necessary parts. You also need the key for the certificate. Open Keychain Access on your Mac and select the Certificates filter on the left. When you select the certificate for your Enterprise Distribution, make sure you there is a green check mark in the top section next to a message

问题 I want to fetch and display the details (such as expiry date and registered company) of my provisioning profile and distribution certificate in my app. I have already tried this but it doesn't work correctly in my app. It give nil for profilePath initially itself. I am using swift 2.3 and Xcode 8.2.1. I have tried to mix and match that code into my app as I could not convert it to swift entirely (got stuck at sscanf method). Any help is appreciated. 回答1: I don't have access to Xcode 8 / Swift

This question already has an answer here: Provisioning profile doesn't include the application-identifier and keychain-access-groups entitlements 15 answers I've literally checked every possible question in stack overflow that have been solved about the same problem. I know that millions of questions exactly the same as mine have been asked, but I tried all the suggestions in the answers of those questions but Xcode is still giving me problems. So as always the first error is: Automatic signing is unable to resolve an issue with the "Project" target's entitlements. The second error is of
