How to track multiple touch events in Libgdx?

问题 I am making a racing game using Libgdx. I want to touch the half right side of screen to speed up, at the same time without removing previous touch point touch again another on the left side of the screen to fire a shot. I am unable to detect later touch points. I have searched and get Gdx.input.isTouched(int index) method, but cannot determin how to use it. My screen touch code is: if(Gdx.input.isTouched(0) && world.heroCar.state != HeroCar.HERO_STATE_HIT){ guiCam.unproject(touchPoint.set

C# Simulating multitouch with Kinect

I have a Kinect application that I can generate 1-4 distinct screen points (Left/Right hands for up to 2 people) and I would like to be able to send each Point to the application with focus as a multi touch message. I'm currently using SendInput to send mouse move, mouse down, and mouse up messages, but AFAIK, it doesn't support the WM_TOUCH messages. Does anyone know of an easy way to send multi touch messages in C#? As a test I would like to be able to use the Kinect in MS Paint, and paint with both hands (as well as all the colors of the wind) Ani What you want is to send messages to the

How to implement a two-finger double-click in Android?

问题 I know how to detect a double-click and a two-finger touch event, but how can I combine these to react so somebody needs to double click with two fingers? By default, Android has the long press to act as a second form of clicking, but I'm specifically looking for a two-finger double-click. 回答1: I wanted a simple and reusable interface that listens for two finger double taps and behaves like GestureDetector. So that you could use it like this (all cut & paste runnable code): public class

Android multitouch! hack anyone?

I have to let this slip for now as a purely academic issue but i would very much like to see a solution in near time. Due to the way that Android handles multitouch you can (as i see it) only trap the event in a single view. I've tried an hack for this envolving a container layout that intercepts the events sees what View it belongs by seeing the coords and changing the action itself so that it seems to the component that it's a single touch event. I compose such events and then route it to the Views. Does anyone have a better idea to do this? If someone wants the code for what i described

When does a touchesBegan become a touchesMoved?

When you drag a finger across the iPhone touchscreen, it generates touchesMoved events at a nice, regular 60Hz. However, the transition from the initial touchesBegan event to the first touchesMoved is less obvious: sometimes the device waits a while. What's it waiting for? Larger time/distance deltas? More touches to lump into the event? Does anybody know? Importantly , this delay does not happen with subsequent fingers, which puts the first touch at a distinct disadvantage. It's very asymmetric and bad news for apps that demand precise input, like games and musical instruments. To see this

Capturing all multitouch trackpad input in Cocoa

问题 Using touchesBeganWithEvent, touchesEndedWithEvent, etc you can get the touch data from the multitouch trackpad, but is there a way to block that touch data from moving the mouse/activating the system-wide gestures (similar to what is done in the chinese text input)? 回答1: As noted by valexa, using NSEventMask for CGEventTap is a hack. Tarmes also notes that Rob Keniger's answer no longer works (OS X >= 10.8). Luckily, Apple has provided a way to do this quite easily by using

Android Multitouch - Possible to test in emulator?

I recently discovered that the Android 2.0 SDK supports multitouch through new functions in the MotionEvent class. You can specify a pointer index when retrieving touch properties, and in cases where multiple fingers are on the screen there should be multiple pointers provided. Unfortunately, I only have a G1 to test on and it's running Android 1.5 and not 2.0. Is there any way to test multitouch without a 2.0 device? In the iPhone simulator, you can hold down option and shift option to perform two fingered pinch and two fingered drag, respectively. Is there any similar functionality in the

How to code for multitouch

So I'm developing an application that must handle multitouch. Basically I want single touch for rotating ( this is no problem ). And multitouch for scrolling. I have the basic code in, but I'm having problems when the shift from single to multitouch, and vice verca, occur. Basically the movement will jolt because the median position of the multitouch ( two fingers ) and the absolute position of the single finger are at a distance. So if I have two fingers on the screen, they make up a median position, and then lift one finger, it would be like a quick movement from that median position to the

Android - How do I get raw touch screen information?

I'm working on a painting application for Android and I'd like to use raw data from the device's touch screen to adjust the user's paint brush as they draw. I've seen other apps for Android (iSteam, for example) where the size of the brush is based on the size of your fingerprint on the screen. As far as painting apps go, that would be a huge feature. Is there a way to get this data? I've googled for quite a while, but I haven't found any source demonstrating it. I know it's possible, because Dolphin Browser adds multi-touch support to the Hero without any changes beneath the application level
