VIM: available shortcuts?

坚强是说给别人听的谎言 提交于 2019-12-02 16:16:30
I use many shortcuts for my work in vim. Other shortcuts are taken by plugins. Sometimes I would like to add a shortcut for a new command but note afterwards that the shortcut was already taken. Is there a way to see a list of all available shortcuts in VIM? (all ctrl-shift-alt shortcuts) MBO Type :help index to see the mappings (shortcuts as you name them) and commands defined by vim itself. Type :map to see the mappings defined by your vimrc and plugins. Type :verbose map to know where each mapping was defined. Also :help map-listing to check what's displayed, but you probably already know

How can I maximize the editor pane?

In Eclipse, I can type Ctrl + M or click the maximize icon in the editor pane to make the editor pane take up the entire Eclipse window, and then again to restore the pane back to its previous size exposing the other panes. Is it possible to perform the equivalent in IntelliJ IDEA? To clarify, I'm asking about hiding all other tool panes to show only the editor pane. I'm not asking how to go to distraction-free mode, because this is mode is completely "full screen," hiding all toolbars, window decorations, etc. The closest thing would be to hide all tool windows by invoking the Hide All Tool

Move line Up/Down shortcut in Visual Studio 2012

懵懂的女人 提交于 2019-12-02 15:42:05
In VS2010 I had a shortcut set up Alt + Up/Down to move lines of code up or down, just like I used to have in Eclipse in my Java days. Now since Power Tools and macros (which is how I set up this shortcut in VS2010) are not available in VS2012, how do I get this to work? I've seen somebody mentioned that Resharper can do this, but for the love of fire and water, I can't find the command names in the list of commands that can do that. I have tried ReSharper_MoveUp/MoveDown and that does not move lines up/down: This moves blocks of text up and down. I just want line-by-line up or down, no fancy

How do I select individual words of a camelized word in IntelliJ IDEA

What is the shortcut in IntelliJ IDEA to move across or select individual words of a camelized word? Lets say I have aLongMultiWordVariableName, I want to be able to move the cursor to each word for editing or select parts of the variable. Eclipse has a shortcut to do this Ctrl + ← / → for move and Ctrl + Shift + ← / → for selection. yalestar IDEA has the same keystrokes as Eclipse for camel-case words, but you have to have the CamelHumps option turned on (it's in Settings -> Editor -> General -> Smart Keys -> Use "CamelHumps" words ) Yes, the answer of yalestar is correct. F12 no longer works in Visual Studio

夙愿已清 提交于 2019-12-02 15:41:40
This is driving me crazy. Ever since I installed ReSharper 4, F12 no longer seems to work. If you look at the all the ReSharper short cuts in the Goto sub menu Declaration doesn't have any assigned! The only way I can go to declaration is by using Alt and ` and then selecting Declaration. I have tried un-installing and re-installing ReSharper with no luck, I have also, in ReSharper option asked it to use the default Visual Studio Key Bindings but that doesn't to work either. Interestingly, when I do use Alt and ` I actually get two entries for the Declaration option. Has anyone come across

Are there shortcut keys for ReSharper's Unit Test Runner?

梦想的初衷 提交于 2019-12-02 15:20:41
For obvious productivity reasons, I make an effort of learning and using as many of the keyboard shortcuts for the various Re# commands. However, it seems that the unit test runner does not have any associated shortcut keys. I want to be able to select certain tests and be able to run or debug them without resorting to grabbing the mouse each time. Is using the mouse my only option? Ben Scheirman ReSharper adds items to Visual Studio's keyboard settings dialog box. Go to: Tools -> Options, Environment -> Keyboard In the search bar, type "resharper" and see the vast options that you can control

Google Chrome's Javascript console keyboard shortcuts

I would like to debug my javascript application using Google Chrome 3 's developer tools. Everything fine and ok, until I actually want to start debugging. I can set breakpoints etc., but I don't want to debug using a mouse but using keyboard. In Firefox + Firebug I can use F10 , F11 and F8 for stepping over, into and run debugged script. Are there any keyboard shortcuts in Google Chrome's Javascript console window ? System configuration (if relevant): Windows Server 2008 R2 (would probably work the same in Windows 7) Google Chrome 3.0.195.21 Edit I investigated this issue even further and it

Eclipse's Ctrl+click in Visual Studio?

妖精的绣舞 提交于 2019-12-02 14:59:43
After working for a few days with Eclipse Java I totally got addicted to pressing Ctrl and clicking on an identifier to go to its definition. Since then I've been looking for a way to achieve this in Visual Studio as well. I realize VS has right click, Go to definition, and that F12 does the same. I also realize that Visual Assist does something similar with Alt + G . Yet none of these are as perfect as Ctrl + click. I've actually tried my luck for a few hours trying to write a VS plugin to do it but didn't get anywhere in the time frame I thought reasonable for this. Does anyone know how this

How to search for file names in Visual Studio?

In Eclipse you can search for a file in the project by pressing CTRL - SHIFT - R . Is there a way to do this in Visual Studio ? Hanna Just for anyone else landing on this page from Google or elsewhere, this answer is probably the best answer out of all of them. To summarize, simply hit: CTRL + , And then start typing the file name. friend The best option now is to install Microsoft Visual Studio add on called Productivity Power Tools ( VS 2010 version , VS 2013 version ). With this comes "Solution Navigator" (alternative to Solution Explorer, with a lot of benefits). BTW, this feature is built
