ERROR ITMS-90046 using xctool / xcodebuild vs XCode Archive's success

I've got a command line script I use to compile, archive and submit my ios builds to ITC for TestFlight deployment. They work great, but I recently ran into an issue when trying to use an embedded framework within my otherwise working project. My script compiles and archives the project successfully but is getting ITC signing errors because of the embedded binary conflict. xctool -workspace $BASE_DIR/$PROJECT_NAME -scheme $SCHEME -configuration $CONFIG clean archive -archivePath ./$PRODUCT_NAME.xcarchive xcodebuild -exportArchive -archivePath ./$PRODUCT_NAME.xcarchive -exportPath $PRODUCT_NAME

iOS Dev: Certificates and hiring a freelancer

I have hired a freelancer to build an app for me. I have an individual dev account to which I have added him as a technical user. He has requested either that I send him distribution and development certs plus a provisioning profile OR to make him an admin role in iTunes Connect. Should I create certificates with my name/email and send them to him? Or with his name/email? Or should I just make him an admin? What is the best/safest course of action? This is just for testing purposes and I will be receiving the source code upon project completion. Totally new to iOS dev and have been scrounging

Automatically download sales reports from iTunes Connect

问题 I had a nice and hacky Perl script to automatically scrape and download sales report files from iTunes Connect. As of today, Apple overhauled the sales report site. It looks a lot nicer, but it uses a lot of JavaScript and simple scraping isn't going to work any more. So, does anybody know of a way to scrape this new site effectively? Some previous questions point to various scripts and online services. I presume they are all broken now as well. If you know of one that is still functional,

heavy iTunes Connect scraping

问题 I'm looking at different options to get the sales reports and other data out of the iTunes Connect website. Since Apple doesn't provide an API, all the solutions I found are based on scraping the page. As I need the information for a product that we offer, I'm not that happy to give all the iTunes accounts to a 3rd party service. This is why I want to scrape it myself or use a product that runs on our servers. My questions are: does someone have experience how frequent apple is changing the

iOS/iPhone: in-app purchase sandbox broken while app in “rejected” state?

问题 (See MAIN THRUST below to skip to the main thrust of my question.) My iOS app was rejected in the Apple review process for a minor reason that was easy to fix. However, I wanted to give the new build a once-over testing, including retesting our in-app purchase (there is only a single purchasable item in the app). And now the app crashes when doing the initial retrieval of the product information. It never crashed in this way before, and the code hasn't changed since we successfully tested the

Cannot set app icon with transparency to iTunes Connect [duplicate]

问题 This question already has answers here : Images can't contain alpha channels or transparencies (22 answers) Closed 4 years ago . iTunes Connect has been updated in the last few days, now when I try to update App Icon (not screenshot) I get the following error:"Images can't contain alpha channels or transparencies." I had no such trouble in the past, has Apple changed its guideline on app icon or is this perhaps a bug in the new site? If the guideline has been changed, is the solution to

Multiple bank accounts for different apps in iTunes connect [closed]

As we are developing an iPhone app for a customer and he wants to charge for that app, we are wondering if it is possible to have multiple bank accounts in iTunes connect to have the revenues directly on the customers bank account. Whats the best practise for that? Many thanks in advance Stefan It sounds like you want to distribute the app yourself on the store, rather than having the customer do it. As someone who does this kind of work himself, I can tell you that this is just silliness. Your customer should be sending you the certificates for you to sign the app, you send him the app for

iOS App Store Unique App Names? [closed]

Must iOS apps have a globally unique name? The iTunes Connect Developer Guide implies that they do, but doesn't say so directly. The closest it comes is (p71): As a result of this deletion [after not delivering a binary within 120 days], your app name will be able to be used by another developer If an app is
