How to filter App Engine connections by host with Google Cloud SQL Second Generation? (2nd)

问题 Google App Engine seems to automatically tunnel its connections to Cloud SQL 2nd generation internally through Cloud SQL Proxy. This was discovered inadvertently while trying to sort out how to use TLS, unsuccessfully: "TLS requested but server does not support TLS" error with Google Cloud SQL (2nd generation) from Google App Engine? I noticed that this works without allowing unsecured access globally to the Cloud SQL instance... which is nice. However, we can only filter the accepted

Migration from Google cloud sql to datastore

问题 Is there an easy way to migrate a large (100G) Google cloud sql database to Google datastore? The way that comes to mind is to write a python appengine script for each database and table and then put it into the datastore. That sounds tedious but maybe it has to be done? Side note, the reason I'm leaving cloud sql is because I have jsp pages with multiple queries on them and they are incredibly slow even with a d32 sql instance. I hope that putting it in the datastore will be faster? There

CloudSQL PDO(unix_socket) problems on Google App Engine

问题 I'm trying to connect to my CloudSQL instance FROM App Engine. The way I've set it up is to use a static IP, which I can use to connect to it from outside App Engine (namely, on my development environment). However, when the app runs within GAE, the only way to connect to the database is using unix_socket. The only documentation I've found on this is Google's own docs. According to the documentation, this should be enough to connect: $db = new PDO('mysql:unix_socket=/cloudsql/my-prj:db1

问题 I have some data in Google Cloud SQL, which I am trying to transfer to Google Cloud Storage using Cloud SQL API(beta) (export) function. For this, I have installed jupyter notebook on google compute engine and I am running the python code (to connect to cloud sql API and export the date to cloud storage in a csv file) on that. The python code does not throw any error and also there is no error body in API response. However, the API's response says " u'status': u'PENDING' " and I see the

问题 I have a database in a Cloud SQL instance. I would like to copy its content into BigQuery in order to perform analysis. It is not a requirement for me to continuously update the BigQuery dataset. It is OK if the export is done only once. What is the best way to achieve this? The 'Create Table' BigQuery UI does not allow me to import from Cloud SQL (only File, Cloud Storage, Drive or BigTable). 回答1: Up to now, there is no automated tool to import data into BigQuery from Cloud SQL, so a

问题 I'm trying to install WordPress on Google's App Engine for PHP with Cloud SQL. However, I can't give my WP database user access to their DB. Looking at the users in my Cloud SQL instance, the grant privilege for the root@% account is unchecked. However, in their WP setup doc, they say to use GRANT ALL for the new database user. See step 6 at: https://developers.google.com/appengine/articles/wordpress Subsequently, I cannot give rights to the new WordPress DB to the user account for the app.
