Now I am getting this error Could not find gcm.jar. Please install the Android SDK Extra : 'Google Cloud Messaging for Android Library' using the Android SDK Manager. But this library is depreciated is it not?? Start SDK Manager and scroll down to the section "Extras" and make sure you have installed Google Cloud Messaging for Android Library, if not, install the package. The package will be installed in the directory "your_android_sdk\extras\google\gcm\" Client code (for example to be used in Android app): "gem\gcm-client\dist" To add the gcm client-jar (gcm.jar) to your Android-project, copy

Get IP from VM object using azure sdk in python

I am trying to get all the IPs (attached to VMs) from an azure subscription. I have pulled all the VMs using compute_client = ComputeManagementClient(credentials, subscription_id) network_client = NetworkManagementClient(credentials,subscription_id) for vm in compute_client.virtual_machines.list_all(): print(vm.network_profile.network_interface) But the network_profile object seems to only be a pointer, I have read through the documentation and can not figure out how to link each vm to its attached IP addresses I came across this: Is there any python API which can get the IP address (internal

Is Azure role local storage guaranteed to be inaccessible to an application that is next to use the same host?

问题 Suppose my Azure role stores files to the role local filesystem and forgets to delete them. Can another application that uses that host in future possibly get access to those files? I've read the whitepaper and it's full of marketing style statements but I can't find a definitive statement about how thoroughly the host machine is "cleaned" before a new role is started on it. Can I be completely sure that another application won't see changes my application does to the filesystem? 回答1: No, it

OpenStack包含了一组由社区维护的开源项目,主要项目有Compute(Nova), Object Storage(Swift),Image Service(Glance)。

Which instances are stopped when I scale my Azure role down?

早过忘川 提交于 2019-12-01 22:48:54
Suppose I have an Azure role with three instances running. I ask Azure to change the role count to two either by Management Portal or via Management API. How will Azure decide which role to take down? As British Developer mentioned, the Windows Azure Fabric Controller decides which instances to shut down. You cannot control this process. I don't think it is always the last number, because I am not sure whether the fabric controller does not rename the instances after shutting down. So even if it shuts down IN_1, at the end of the process we will still have IN_0 and IN_1, instated of IN_0 and

Reading part of a file in S3 using Boto

I am trying to read 700MB file stored in S3. How ever I only require bytes from locations 73 to 1024. I tried to find a usable solution but failed to. Would be a great help if someone could help me out. S3 supports GET requests using the 'Range' HTTP header which is what you're after. To specify a Range request in boto, just add a header dictionary specifying the 'Range' key for the bytes you are interested in. Adapted from Mitchell Garnaat's response : import boto s3 = boto.connect_s3() bucket = s3.lookup('mybucket') key = bucket.lookup('mykey') your_bytes = key.get_contents_as_string(headers

Google Cloud Platform - Can't connect to mongodb

Just installed mongodb using click-to-deploy in google cloud platform. I have another project, for which I created the mongodb database, where my web application runs. Do I have to open some port or configure something? As the other answers in this thread suggest, mongod daemon is listening on TCP port 27017 . Therefore, you will need to add a firewall rule on Compute Engine firewall for this port and protocol. This can be done using Google Cloud console or using gcloud command tool: gcloud compute firewall-rules create allow-mongodb --allow tcp:27017 It is recommended to use target tag with
