How To Prevent HttpWebRequest with long response from timing-out Azure Web App

问题 We are using an HttpWebRequest in C# to get data from an internet resource in our Azure Web App. The problem is that Azure has a limitation on how long it keeps the connection alive (around 240 seconds). Due to the nature of our application, the response will sometimes take longer than 240 seconds. When this happens, the webpage will go white, and the "View Source" will show zero source code (which has made this issue difficult to debug). Here's some sample code to illustrate: webRequest =

问题 Is it possible to prevent access to my Azure website from the Azure provided domain and force the use of the custom domain via a setting/configuration within Azure? Right now I have a custom domain associated with my Azure Web App. So, under domain names, there are 2 listed, my custom domain and the azure provided domain. Example: mywebapp.com mywebapp.azurewebsites.net I want traffic to only be allowed in via the custom domain. So, mywebapp.azurewebsites.net should either not be allowed or

How to communicate from Azure webjob to Azure webapp?

问题 I'm running an Azure webjob alongside an Azure webapp. The job runs periodically and the result of the job is needed in the webapp. How do I get the result there? I tried with a WCF netNamedPipeBinding but since there are no startup tasks for Azure webapps I cannot add a net.pipe binding to the IIS website nor can I enable the net.pipe protocol. I have it working now with a basicHttpBinding but this binding is exposed to the entire internet which I absolutely do not want. I simply want

问题 What's a possible way to determine on an Azure website with multiple instances what instance is responding (some ID or other piece of unique info)? 回答1: The following environment setting will have the instance id the current request is running on: WEBSITE_INSTANCE_ID . You'll also receive this id as a cookie in the response named: ARRAffinity . You can also use this information to get back to that specific instance, see: http://blog.amitapple.com/post/2014/03/access-specific-instance/ for

问题 I'm trying to migrate my Django website from Heroku to Azure. I'm using 'Azure Web Apps', where installing postgresql from my requirements.txt requires a little bit of gymnastics. I can't directly install the package via pip, I instead had to create a wheel and manually include that in my repository. I'm halfway done. I have psycopg2-2.6.1-cp27-none-win32.whl ready on my local machine. Regarding what to do next, my question is: how do I copy the .whl file to the relevant folder via Kudu on

问题 This question already has answers here : How to check if code is running on Azure Websites (2 answers) Closed 4 years ago . I'm migrating an web app from an Azure Cloud Services Web Role to Azure Websites. Websites can't find Microsoft.WindowsAzure.ServiceRuntime and doesn't seem to like the Cloud Service helpers in general. The app uses RoleEnvironment.IsAvailable in a few places to behave differently online versus on a development computer. (We ran in development outside of the Web Role
