Apple App Store IPV6 Requirement

I am going to publish an app on Apple Store then I came to know about IPV6 rejection issue. My app only support for IPV4 and on this link I found that app should support IPV6. So my question is that, Is it compulsory that app must support for both IPV4 & IPV6? Sorry if looks as a foolish question but I am looking for a Apple link & more detail before getting rejected from Apple. You don't need to worry about IPv6 support, if you've not set hard-core IPv4 IP address in your web server/service url connection. This Apple document will help you: Supporting IPv6-only Networks All apps submitted to

问题 Can listening to AVSystemController_SystemVolumeDidChangeNotification NSNotification be considered (during the App Store review process) as using private API? In my application I need to display and update the current volume level. Volume indicator should be updated after pressing hardware volume buttons and after volume change in MPVolumeView slider. I've searched solution how to get notification or event of hardware volume button press and had found a number of solutions. For example,

Amazon AppStore Submission Failed: “Sensitive information like password is echoed in clear text without encryption”

I've submitted an application to the amazon app store, and it was rejected with the following details: Sensitive information like password is echoed in clear text without encryption Obviously, not a great thing ... however I've reviewed the application code. The user's password is stored in the private preferences as an MD5 hash (it goes straight from textbox to md5 hash to prefs, and is not logged or written anywhere as plaintext. When we post requests to our web API (via http), we post a header with the username, and a hash of the following concatenated string (nonce + timestamp +

App rejected for storing database in Documents directory

My app was recently rejected from the app store for storing data in the Documents directory. I had moved it there because with the latest change, the db must now be writeable - it's no longer read-only. In researching the solution, I've read that it's actually preferable to use NSLibraryDirectory. Is this so, and more importantly, will that address Apple's concerns? Their complaint is that the app lets the user download to much content (it doesn't let the user download any unless you count the db), and that it's storing "too much data" in the "incorrect location." The data is 8 mb, but could

My app is a catalog of ebook-like content. Some of which are free to read, and some other are paid. I need to ask for user email / password to be able to retain the information of which content was successfuly completed, or until which chapter it was completed so the user can have his information synced accross all platforms. However I got this rejection message : Apps cannot require user registration prior to allowing access to app content and features that are not associated specifically to the user. iOS auto updates

It takes 10 days to submit update and wait it to be reviewed. One of my farm games I that I installed on iPad shows "downloading updates" when I run it. Is it good idea to implement updates in iOS app like that? Is it permitted by Apple? Do you know apps doing that except farm apps? I am thinking about PhoneGap. I could download new version of phonegap extract it and run. So I will add features directly dially or even push different functionality to different clients. It is also a way to overcome encryption restrictions. Right now it is not clear if HTML code that has https link, recourses has

Can't click “Ready to Upload Binary” due to IDFA

I am about to submit an update to my app and when I click "Ready to Upload Binary" I get the question: Does this app use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA)? Since AdMob uses it I select 'YES'. The image below shows what happends as I click 'Continue'. The only problem is: There is no way to select how the app uses IDFA! Does anyone know of how to solve this? Try another browser like Safari maybe? Had issues with chrome in the past. I had exactly this problem, and it was due to my AdBlocker in Safari. Either disabling the AdBlocker or adding itunesconnect.com to the white list of the AdBlocker

I have submitted an app for expedited review. Immediately after that I have rejected the binary and published a new one. Do I have to resubmit my app for expedited review or will Apple consider my first submission? Or if I resubmit it again, will it be considered as spam? Thank you! I think that the first one is enough. However It's Apple, so nobody really knows.
